Flexible Charging Stack charging jump gun is a high-frequency fault encountered by car owners, which refers to the automatic stop of charging equipment during the charging process. The reasons are divided into three categories: vehicle end, Flexible Charging Stack end, and external environment, and need to be investigated one by one.
Common causes on the vehicle side: abnormal battery temperature, high or low temperature, BMS triggering protection; Charging port pins are oxidized, dusty, and have poor contact; Poor sealing of the vehicle charging port cover and water ingress; Vehicle charging system malfunction.
On the Flexible Charging Stack end: the gun head is burned, the rubber ring is aged, and the cable is broken internally; Flexible Charging Stack overheating and leakage protection triggering; Equipment motherboard and communication module malfunction; Poor grounding. Environmental factors: large voltage fluctuations in the power grid, instantaneous undervoltage and overvoltage; Flexible Charging Stack overheat due to exposure to sunlight in summer; Electromagnetic interference during thunderstorm weather.
When encountering a jumping gun, do not repeatedly force the charging to start. First, check whether the charging gun and vehicle charging port have burnt black, water stains, or foreign objects, clean them up, and then try plugging and unplugging again.
Continuously jump the gun on the household pile, check if the air switch trips and if the cable heats up and becomes soft; Public pile jumping gun, can be replaced with adjacent Flexible Charging Stack for testing, to determine whether it is a vehicle or Flexible Charging Stack problem.
If there are blackening and melting marks on the charging port, stop using it immediately, do not charge again, and contact maintenance personnel for inspection. Do not ignore frequent jumping of guns, long-term poor contact will continue to generate heat, and there is a risk of fire. Do not polish the metal pins of the charging gun by yourself, as it may damage the original coating and exacerbate oxidation problems.
